Health Perspective from Joy Nash

This woman’s got something to say, and the voice to say it with.  Take a minute to hear some wisdom from Joy Nash, and tell us what you think.  More from me next week!

  1. This U-tube video points out some great points on being fat today in an American society. I love the clothes shopping demonstration. Being a bigger woman myself I can relate to this video. I liked the way she approached the word fat and what that means in society today. And most of all the ending message of loving yourself and living the way you want to. Being healthy doesn’t always come in a size 2 or 4 or 6 for that matter. And often times those people aren’t healthy because they are under nourished or have self esteem issues which lead to other non healthy situations. Society needs to go healthy not skinny. Love the skin your in! Thanks for sharing Jade!

  2. Hi Jenn! I agree – Joy really does an excellent job of speaking honestly about weight. I just love her sense of humor – “yeah, right, as if being fat is the only thing that could possibly be wrong with me!” It’s so easy to attach blame rather than take responsibility.

It’s always refreshing to hear someone connect health and happiness in such a tangible way.

    Thanks for your thoughts,
